The landlords have to accept the program and the property has to pass inspection . we have 13 days left and have already contacted 13 different rentals. No one accepts HPRP yet. I could use some help or information

Hello,

I could really use some help with any information for assistance someone has available. I have lost everything after the job I worked with had an economic downsize. I have relocated to California in hopes of a better job opportunity and well...I am very anxious to work but I have no idea what agencies to join that need people right away.

I also need help with transportation. Car was repossessed. I would like to know if there were any organizations here that provided a car or transportation for individuals who, if transportation were provided, would be working or able to keep employment.

Also, I am staying in a garage with my bro, and my last 2 checks bounced, so I have been asked to leave and I have no were to go. I also need to see a doctor because of serious chest pain. I went a few weeks ago, and they said it was nothing. However, now the chest pain has been more severe and similiar to spasms. I know if I had some type of health insurance, I would get better testing. I was told it was anxiety but, Im just afraid. This is really scary.

Some Great Information Available from the Government & other Agencies.

I came across a site that offers publications for free or almost free. (Some were a bit costly if you wanted a printed version. But they also allowed you on many to be able to access the information online.)

Now I could probably have make a dozen posts for each and every one of these helpful topics, but frankly I believe in being efficient and to do so would waste time.

So I'm giving you the link to all the available publications and letting you pick the ones you want to order or view online where available. There is a wide selection so take a few minutes to check it out.

Federal Citizen Information Center

I hope that you get some use out of it - let others know if you find it informative and pass on the link.

A cool resource link and link to a pdf catalog

Okay I came across these links while looking for some help and I want to post them here for anyone that may need them.

If I wasn't so darn sleepy right now, (been at it all day today & running about) maybe I could think a bit straighter and could add some more.

But think I'll wait till after I get some sleep before I post more...
So tired, nite nite all....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

About whisper1

Hi, my name is Laura i'm 26 years old and am in Desperate need of some help.

I am un-able to work because of some Mental Health Problems. I am 26 years old but i still live with my parents. I am trying to move out but i'm not able to because i can not afford the months rent in advance or the deposit. I am on Income Support and so am un-able to save any money. I have looked into some grants but none of them cover the months rent in advance or the deposit. I have asked the council for help but they said that they do not help with that. I am un-able to get a loan because i know i would not be able to re-pay the monthly bill and i do not want to get myself into debt. Unfortunately i do not have any friends or family that are in a position to be able to help me. I don't know what to do, or where to turn to for help. Moving into a flat of my own is very important to me as i am trying to get a little bit of independence. I have panic attacks and am un-able to go out on my own. Because of this i have ended up with very few friends and do not get out of the house much.

So getting a place of my own is very scary for me but is something that is very important to me, so that i can get some independence and have a life of my own. It is also important to me that my parents can get some time to them selves as i am always around.

If you are able to help financially then please can you send payment via PayPal to whisper2525@sky.com and send me a message so that i am able to write to you.

But if you have any information that you think may help then also please send me a message, i live in the UK. And would really appreciate any information you may have.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

No complaints, my daughter and I have each other for Christmas which is the meaning and reason for Christmas and she is fine without the presents and has said as long as we are have each other and our health.  I'm a single mother, laid off no income but I am making it so far, barely but ok.  I have been trying to find information on immunizations for my 13 year old who is behind on her shots from age 10.  She just started high school, I've been to all the clinics, web sites ect. and have been researching for sometime, unless I pay cash they won't provide services.  We don't qualify for medical insurance, and obviously we don't have health insurance.   Does  anyone know of a good clinic/doctor/hospital that will provide immuniziations with possible payments in future? Don't need handout just information, hopefully with miniumum costs and no credit check.

Our wish, a happy, healthy, being together and best for all this Christmas. Thank you.

Trying to find my way in life

Hi there...I'm lost..trying to find my way in life I was asked what did I wont to be as a child and for the longest I wonted to model. It was my passion tell I had my son who is now 2 years old set a side from modeling my second passion would be to write poetry or be my own boss. I'm just trying to find something that makes me happy in the end so that I can be a better provider for my son. I thought after getting my HS diploma collage would be my next step but it's been harder than just saying that's what I'm going to do because of money, transportation and trying to make sure I keep a ruff over our heads. I have a lot of retail and sales experience I've been out of a job for about a month. I helped Wilson's leather open up a store for the third season before that I was out of a job for 6 months I'm a people's person if any one can help or give me any information to help me out this season it would truly lift my spirits

About Spellcastress

What I am interested in are leads on some assistance to start a group/foster home. They are very much in need in our area and being a foster child myself, I truly want to put back into the system what was put into me.  I have been researching foundations, etc.  Which is how I found  THIS really awesome site.  I just would like direction if anyone knows of any.  I have contacted our local foster agency and have started the classes and requirements to be a provider.  Unfortunately I need to have all the beds, dressers and numerous start up items.  I would like to start with a foster home and eventually a group home to accomodate more children in need. We are currently looking for a house with property to purchase here in Western NY. Someplace that kids can just be...kids.  So am making preparations in advance.

Thank you for your time and best of luck to you all.

Christine

My NEW updated website, Resourcefully For You...with a page dedicated to VA/SWVA

Resourcefully For You

*March 09 -  I am proud to announce I have made my website (formally Resourceful Living) official, and in the process has a new name, new logo, banners, and has been updated & streamlined with many more great National resourceful links of assistance, plus great link exchange partners to provide you with even more great information and resources.  And in addition, I have partnered with several great businesses to also offer affordable online shopping, and have added a brand new forum to my website.  R4U offers assistance links of most all types...Alcohol/Drug Issues, Charities, Support, Medical/Dental Assistance, Transportation Issues, Mental Health, Utility/Phone/Food/Clothing assistance links, plus Government programs links, Legal Assistance, Prescription Assistance, and more!  I also have a page dedicated to the VA/NRV/SWVA areas.  There really are many great different helpful resource links on my website, so please be sure to keep checking my page, as it continues to change and grow and continiously has updates & added assistance resource links.

*I changed the name due to my website's former name, "Resourceful Living" being copied and used by many other sites & bloggers...so, NOTE for all WAH persons...COPYRIGHT and/or Trademark your work!  When I first started Resourceful Living & researched my new title...it was original.

In addition to my main website R4U, I also have a page dedicated to Mental Health Matter's where you can find many stories, resources, links, information, support, etc. for mental illness of all kinds.  And living with Bipolar II, anxiety disorders, and depression, as I do, I definately have to take all things "one day at a time" because honestly, sometimes this is the only way I can get through a day without becoming too overwhelmed and giving up.  So as you see, I have my own personal daily issues, problems & struggles.

Also to help aid you, read some of my personal blogging (with my personal opinions, thoughts, concerns, struggles, etc), find different life resources/links, information, inspiration & encouragement & much more.  Visit my page collectively titled...R4U's Life Matter's.  Please feel free to email me any time.  And if you havethe time, please leave me a message and/or comment, I'd love to read them...for they (you) are my inspiration too!

I now also have a new page called WAHHousewives (Work-at-Home-Housewives)  Here you will be able to find a variety of information about WAH, and if that is even something you would be interested in doing.  And NO it is not a get rich quick option, NOR can you make tons of money upfront, BUT what it does do is allow you the possibility to do just that in your future.  You can make a small income in the beginning depending on how much time and effort you put into your WAH job(s) as well as your amount of support in family, friends and networking opportunites.

I started my WAHH page just to try and help point out some of the particulars of WAH, and also because I saw soooooo many sites for WAHM's, but I was not a full-time mommy, (I have one grown son, and two young step-children whom we only have on Saturdays) and I couldn't really find any sites dedicated to just us plain ole WAHHousewives, so I created one.  So hope you'll visit!

Also, feel free to visit me & send me a friend request on my Myspace page, collectively titled, "Resourcefully Yours" formally Resourceful Living.
